THE WEEKEND REPLAY

Welcome back to The Weekend Replay! I have a killer lineup of new tunes for your listening enjoyment this week, so get your headphones ready, and let’s begin.

Pop-punk artist Sueco released his brand new single “Outta My Head.” The track fuses together genres like rock, rap and punk to make up a headbanging song. It leads the singer’s upcoming album Attempted Lover, which will be released on July 19. “Survival in Motion” from rock artist Taylor Acorn sees the singer go full throttle. Acorn showcases her powerful vocals front and center amidst a driving guitar and drum track. Her new album of the same name comes out in September and should be one to look out for.

Clairo dropped the second single from her upcoming third record Charm. “Nomad” sees the artist tackle the feelings of being hung up on a lover, and depicts seeing them in everything she does. The light acoustic guitar and airy vocals come together for a sweeping song. MJ Lenderman is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album Manning Fireworks with a new single titled “She’s Leaving You.” The artist’s new track continues his alternative, country-tinged sound, with gritty guitar and swooning vocals.

Beccs dropped her new track “Jealous Bitch” featuring Bitch. It leads her new EP stay moist, and sees the artist lean into a smash-ready pop sound over swaying strings and heavy electronics. Singer-songwriter Ashe released her new single “Running Out Of Time.” After a short hiatus, she revealed that she was going independent after issues with her record label. With a summery and bright indie-pop sound touching on time passing, her return was well worth the wait.
