Nada y Nada releases “Vice Versa”

Nada Y Nada has released a music video along with their new single “Vice Versa”, an emotional track complimented with an equally as emotional, yet confusing, video.

Starting off the track with toms leading into bass and light guitar the music video opens to a woman lying in various ways between cuts. This eventually becomes a montage of television clips and the woman between stages of life, some of which includes clown make up. The song starts to ramp up as do the quick cuts between these juxtaposing scenes of this woman in many different situations, some of which include her being followed by a man with an eye for a head.

It feels as the songs start to hit even harder and the guitar becomes more and more piercing and chaotic, so does the woman's life in all aspects between cuts. The song ends one a piano note and the video subsequently ends with a group of balloons, seen throughout the video, are let go into the air and allowed to fly freely.

Although I am personally unable to make any specific connections between the song and video, nor decipher the video’s true meaning, that may also be the point. Nada Y Nada might know exactly what the video represents, or maybe they want the viewer to decide for themselves. Either way, the song and music video definitely convey an emotion that is hard to miss upon any amount of viewings.
