Kerosene Heights “Perfect Timing” Single

On pretty much every front, Kerosene Heights has stepped up its game since it first started releasing tracks. Their newest single, “Perfect Timing” is faster, harder-hitting, and more instrumentally interesting and dynamic. Vocalist, Chance Smith, also really nails the emotional beats on this track.

“Perfect Timing” continues the trend of increased production value that started with Kerosene Heights’ recently re-released track “Kathryn.” The mix and instrumentation quality on this track is a noticeable upgrade from the band’s last major release, no more bad dreams.

It’s nice to see Kerosene Heights up its game continuously with new releases. The band has put out some good music so far, but what’s really stood out is their energy, which previously felt a little constrained. But now, it looks like the band is firing all cylinders with production to match, although they’re still retaining that good punk grunge. Can’t polish all of that away, right?

With all that being said, the new EP from Kerosene Heights set to drop in May sounds pretty enticing right about now. We’ll see where the band takes it from here and if they’ll continue to push the boundaries of what they can accomplish.
