BEKIND “The worst of Everything”

BEKIND

“is what I like to call “there’s no such thing as too much breakdown.”

BEKIND is a mix of members from Meth as well as Adrian Kobziar, a Chicago based producer, who’ve come together to create The Worst of Everything, a heavy hitting slow burn EP you’re going to want to mosh too.

Truth Abuser”, the group's first single from this release, is what I like to call “there’s no such thing as too much breakdown.” Kicking you in the stomach from the get go then slowing down into a crawl really sets the mood for this ep. followed by “American Tradition” which picks up the pace significantly giving you a song to smash your head against something too. This is what you think of when someone says “hardcore”, just gritty guitars and punchy drums blanketed in the screams of the vocalist.

Re-Spite” continues the heavy gritty guitars, mixing in some more melodic cleaner tones. This almost serves as the ep’s “interlude”, without any vocals this track serves as a vessel moving from the first two tracks to the last two.

“Infinite Pain” brings the attack right back, really filling out the range of the audio files constantly peaking audio that gives the whole album its extra gritty distortion. “Human Incision” brings the record to an end by really emphasizing on the screams that delves into almost a rant before dropping brutally low. This track also brings back some of the more melodic guitars from “Re-Spite” while also introducing some more ambient sounds that really makes the otherwise crunchy track feel wider.

BEKIND is definitely your textbook hardcore outfit in the best ways possible.
